Terms of Use

App License

StampName is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). These terms supplement the Standard EULA; where they conflict, the Standard EULA governs the application license.

Free Allowance, StampName Pro & Subscriptions

StampName includes 30 free renames. After the free renames are used, continuing to rename files requires StampName Pro, which is available as either of the following through the App Store, at the price shown in the store at the time of purchase:

• Yearly subscription: an auto-renewing subscription, currently offered at $19.99 per year in the US.
• Lifetime purchase: a one-time purchase that does not renew, currently offered at $39.99 in the US. A lower introductory price may be shown in the store for a limited time.

• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Automatic Renewal: The yearly subscription renews automatically for the same duration and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing and Cancelling: You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID account subscription settings on your Mac. See Apple’s guide to cancelling a subscription. Cancelling turns off automatic renewal; you keep access to Pro features until the end of the current paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.
• Restore Purchases: If you previously purchased StampName Pro, use Restore Purchases in StampName to reactivate it on any Mac signed in with the same Apple ID. Restoring is free.
• Undo is always free: Undoing a rename never counts against the free allowance and does not require StampName Pro.
• Refunds: All purchases, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policies. The developer cannot issue refunds directly.

Your Files & Reviewing Names

You retain full ownership of your documents. StampName suggests file names based on text it finds on each document, and that text can be misread or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing each suggested name before you rename. StampName renames files in place, never overwrites an existing file, and records each rename so it can be undone; you remain responsible for keeping your own backups of important files.

Ownership & Intellectual Property

The software code, user interface, design, and graphics associated with StampName are owned by Quan Dang. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or decompile any part of the application, except as permitted by applicable law.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use StampName only for lawful purposes and only on files you have the right to access and rename, in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s Standard EULA.

Availability & Changes

StampName is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, improve, or modify features, and the price or structure of StampName Pro, over time. Price changes for an existing subscription are handled through the App Store in line with Apple’s rules.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quan Dang provides StampName without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty that suggested names will be accurate. In no event shall Quan Dang be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the application.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any revisions will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of StampName after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
