StampName · Effective date: October 31, 2026
StampName runs entirely on your Mac. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no server. The text of your documents never leaves your Mac.
We collect no data. StampName has no account registration, no sign-in, no telemetry or analytics, and no servers of its own. The app does not have the network entitlement, which means it cannot connect to the internet. Under Apple's App Store privacy labels, StampName is classified as “Data Not Collected”.
StampName renames invoices and receipts based on what is printed on them. To do this it reads the PDF and image files in the folders you choose and reads the text on them, including text recognized from scanned pages. This processing happens only on your Mac. Document contents, extracted text, and the names StampName suggests are never uploaded, shared, or sent to the developer or any third party.
StampName stores the following only on your Mac, inside the app’s sandbox container:
This data is not transmitted anywhere. You can delete it by removing StampName from your Mac or by using the data-clearing options in Settings. Standard Mac backups (such as Time Machine) may include app data under Apple’s terms; the developer has no access to those backups.
StampName only accesses folders you explicitly grant. It renames files in place and does not overwrite existing files.
StampName includes 30 free renames. After that, StampName Pro is available as an auto-renewing yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit 2. The developer never receives or stores your payment card number, billing details, or Apple ID information. StampName checks your purchase status with Apple on your device; this is the only external service involved, and it is operated by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
StampName contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code. We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect any.
If you have enabled sharing of diagnostics with app developers in your Mac settings, Apple may provide the developer with aggregated crash logs and system metrics under Apple’s own privacy terms. This information does not include your documents or file names.
StampName does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
